No kidding, the look on her face seems to say, taking a step forward when he moves back—

hard to tell on first impression whether the instinct is more protective toward him or fascinated by what they've uncovered. Probably, a decent amount of both. It isn't exactly within her wheelhouse of study, but that doesn't make her any less curious about it, glancing sideways, “Well, we should keep him on the hook,” seems obvious, now.

Whether or not they actually take the place, they certainly need it to stay empty long enough to make the most of the opportunity.
