She doesn't know if that was a symptom, before, but it seems worth checking on all the same. Ness's clear distress is certainly understandable (Cosima has read that report), but worth being thorough just to be sure. Being near this much raw lyrium for anyone not a dwarf is risky, and rifters are more sensitive than most.

"If it'll help, we can talk a bit as we walk. That way we'll both be paying enough attention to each other that we'll notice quickly if anything changes." It's a suggestion, not an instruction, but it's probably not a bad idea for either of them.
