🎀?

Talin's conflict, his struggle to determine whether or not to believe Emmrich, is clear in his eyes, intense as they are on Emmrich's. He hates trusting shemlen at their word, especially about anything to do with the People... but truly, he knows too little about magic (and the Mourn Watch, and this man specifically, and spirits...) to be able to tell anything for certain. The mage seems truthful enough—but so does Talin, probably. Either way, there's no way for him to discern a lie from the truth for now.

For now. He will be confirming all this with the other agents of Fen' Harel at the earliest opportunity. They must have recruited some Mourn Watch or mortalitasi—flames, even just a Nevarran city elf would have more information than he has right now. If he gets desperate, he can try to get a message to the Dread Wolf himself about it, but he'd so much rather be able to take care of this himself, Fen'Harel has enough to concern himself with—

The deep sigh that Talin heaves may not do anything to convince Emmrich that he's happy about this, but he doesn't look quite as ready to start a fight, either.

"Fine. Lets keep going, then. There are more bodies to put to rest."

Regardless of—or maybe because of—his misgivings, he's not going to leave Emmrich alone to tend to Fen'Harel's dead.
