Anders used to have the right to be all right, but never was. Who would agree to pay that debt back to him? The Wardens almost did, but the Templars took that away from him. It was the same second chance Nathaniel had had, and Nathaniel doesn't understand why he was able to make a fresh start and not Anders.

"Detlef." Nathaniel bobs his head in acknowledgement, then suddenly laughs, though there is no malice in it. "Maker, I wish you'd chosen an Orlesian name instead. And maybe colored your hair. Being a blond healer from the Anderfels isn't much of a disguise."
