Blades are better than anything else, and the bigger or heavier the blade, the better again. That’s how a real fighter does it when they’re not down to bare knuckles, something else that should make more of a comeback in Asher’s opinion. For now, it’s back to the bear, Asher roaring back at it as he circles to the front, staring it down.

The lightning hits and the bear rises up to try to come down on top of Asher, even wounded as it is but it just gives him a chance to swing up through the belly.
