Once he'd fallen into step with the pair of them, he tucked his hands into the pockets of the jacket he was wearing. It wasn't as cold here as it was in Emprise, but there was still a definite chill to the air. The faint spark of dry humor that had surfaced for a moment faded away, replaced by a more somber expression.
