They said all teenagers scare the living shit out of me.

WHO: Kas + Open
WHAT: Catch-all for February
WHEN: All month
WHERE: Skyhold and/or Emprise de Lion
NOTES: Angry qunari teen CR, anyone?

Skyhold

Kas is a common sight around Skyhold, easily told apart from the rest of the scouts by the strange little bumps in his hood that hid his tiny nubs. The teen spent most of his time running errands, delivering information and training, but there were times he was off duty and just enjoying some downtime.

During training, he was usually found at the archery range, trying to better his aim with the bow Metaari gave him or the fancy dragon-winged one he had gotten from Korrin. At other times, he spent his training hours with daggers, attempting to follow what Zevran had taught him. It was still rather rough - but it seemed to be improving, at least.

Downtime found him often by the kitchen, grabbing as much food as he was allowed before the kitchen staff chased him off. He was finally starting to fill out a bit, no longer the stick of a qunari he'd been when he joined - all thanks to having three square meals a day. Kas also frequented the tavern, but only when it was very full of people or void of the Chargers and the Iron Bull.

...and yet at other times, his voice could be heard over the fortress, cursing and yelling at some asshole that had insulted him somehow. Please shove a sock in the boy's mouth before he upsets the nobles, okay?

Emprise de Lion

Snow really, really sucked. Kas already knew this, of course - he had lived in Ferelden for years now. Still, there as a huge difference between Ferelden snow and Emprise snow. It just felt deeper and sharper, and after his time slipping down a crevasse and being saved by Korrin, Kas wasn't so keen on leaving the campsites any more.

Thankfully he doesn't complain much when he's asked to do things, but he's still freezing his fingers off in this mess.

It isn't until he hears he's missed a dragon fight that his morale drops completely. he didn't exactly want to fight one, but he would have loved to have seen it. You'll have to excuse him if he's a little mopey after that.
