It is a hard look that Teren turns on Scipio when he begins to protest, but she looks forward again when he acquiesces. "Then let's gather these," she instructs, beginning to take a few herself so he won't think himself ill-treated.
Once all the books are in hand, Teren starts off toward the keep, and quickly realizes she doesn't yet have the lay of the place. "You'll have to show me to the library," she tells him, "I've not been here long."
