Cassandra is never going to accuse Varric of talking too much ever again.

Addressing everything Church says is clearly impossible, as well as pointless. She suspects that he does not even expect a response to it all, with as much as he rants and raves and as little as he acknowledges her own replies. Perhaps he simply enjoys the sound of his own voice, but if so, she cannot imagine why. It is high-pitched and whiny and horrible.

So she says nothing, merely crosses her arms and glares and lets the words wash over her, until one word in particular catches her attention.

She freezes, and leans forward, her eyes boring into his own, her tone dangerously quiet.

"What do you mean, died too many times?"
