"There is a mage who wanders the lower courtyard who goes by the name Your Trainer. She's studied the rifts and how to use their power for spells and it's left her... altered. Still, she's a valuable resource of information."

It was hard to imagine the nature of her spellcasting suddenly changing on her, but Ellana felt for Hermione. "My people sometimes call the Fade the 'Veil,' instead. When we die, we say the person has crossed the Veil. In that way, it's as though your magic has been shrouded."
