"It's not official or anything like that," Ariadne replied, shrugging up one shoulder. "He's just been trying to organize meetings. So we can share our experiences and information. Some of the natives aren't very forthcoming. And it's complicated, trying to keep track of everything."

She had no doubt, however, that Marcel would be all-too-happy to accept an 'official' title of sorts. As much as she liked him, she knew he was the type of person eager for power.

Which wasn't bad either. Like politics, he could be an influence for positive change.

She had hope.
