Hermione is familiar with chess, certainly, but she'd never been overly good at it. Oh, it isn't unusual for her to win a few games here and there, but it's one of the only areas where Ron can excel over her. She just doesn't have the head for strategy, usually planning too far ahead to see what was happening within the next move.

"It looks about the same, yes," she replies, a little relieved. Glancing up at Mia, she smiles and tells her,"Thank you. There have been so many differences between my world and Thedas that it's nice to find something at least a little familiar."
