But she left it at that, because she too was rather mystified as to how someone could be half-giant. The races in Thedas did intermingle, because they weren't so far off in size from one another, but it was rare and a sign of shame for many based on the community in which they were raised. A half-giant just seemed... well, Hermione put it best: it boggled the mind.

"Oh, thank you." Her pale face took on a rosy look, because compliments made her blush, and she shifted a little, standing up straighter and tucking a stray piece of hair behind her ear.
