It doesn't really mean anything, in the long run, but there are some who are more narrow-minded and like to think of themselves as 'purebloods' because they can trace their magical line back generations and generations. Usually, all that really meas is that there was a lot of inbreeding in their family tree." Shrugging, she concludes, "But children like to tease, and even adults can be spiteful. I'm just pleased most of the people I'd met were much better than all that."
