"So the undead are corpses possessed by spirits?" Hermione asks, trying not to imagine an entire swamp smelling of death and decay. "Magic has nothing to do with it? Because in my world, typically such a thing has to do with the Dark Arts; if it were a natural occurrence-... well, I don't know if that makes it more or less frightening." Especially since she doesn't know what to do with the concept of undead cats.

"No, never in a bad way," Hermione remarks with a small smile. "I was actually sort of scared to talk to Korrin when I first saw her. But in my defense, she is a bit intimidating when you don't really know her." And is still intimidating, if you find yourself on her bad side. Hermione's determined not to end up on her bad side.

"I'll take very good care of them, thank you," she promises, carefully setting the papers inside her notebook. "And I'll of course share any new information I might come across. None of this works if we don't all have open access to information, after all."
