But I lived around humans, so I got more exposure, I suppose. Other Dalish likely hate her just because so many people have killed us in her name, and I know I get rather- um, grumpy, when people say that what the Chant says is the only way and try to teach us without caring for our stories."
Some stray hair is brushed behind her ear, and Merrill sighs slightly. "I suppose- we all agree that she was clearly a leader that people rallied behind, and that without her, we likely never would have had the Dales to lose. Beyond that... I think it's all very individual to the elf in question."
