"There's something to be said for careful observation. It means you'll have a much better handle on the situation before you dive into the middle of it." Kain had gotten involved in the Inquisition much faster than he might have done, but after the war he'd just been in, he was more willing to be part of it. He'd needed a goal to focus on, and this had been there for him to join.

The universe itself as a world... it's a lot to wrap his mind around, but at least Kain has some basis to go on, knowing what he does about the Lunarians and their space travel... so it doesn't seem too out there. "There are always forces out there like that, who seek to exploit and destroy... I know that all too well, after what I've encountered. Still, I think you're right... the good makes it all worth it." Those Lunarians are a good example, Zemus and Fusoya both are among them, evil and good.

Kain nods, knowing all too well that urge to travel. Not to mention how stifling it feels to stay in one place. "I'll be sure to keep that in mind when any opportunities arise to travel. I've no doubt they will soon enough. Getting out and seeing this world is well worth it. Dangerous, of course, but if you're well-prepared, there are few difficulties."
