When Beleth stands, Ellana's hackles rise and her muscles tighten. She doesn't like being stood over, not when she's being yelled it. Her heart races and she suddenly pushes herself to her feet, because she's taller than Beleth and that feels safer right now. The words hurt, and she won't deny that she is selfish in her desires, but she is so damn tired of being made to feel guilty for having desires outside of what's good for the clan. She is so damn tired of the Dalish being angry, sorrowful, spiteful people who draw more and more inward.
