Teren rolls her eyes. Ahh, dodging the question-- perhaps she's a match for Alistair after all. She'll hassle him about it later.
"I can't imagine the Warden camp is terribly comfortable for you." Out of the corner of her eye, even in the dimness, she notes the girl's facial markings. Despite all her social dealings, Teren has never interacted much with the Dalish, and finds it is probably wise to tread softly.

"Oh, it's not that bad. It's better than Skyhold, actually. I mean--it's cold, and I can't steal bread anymore, but it's not that different than living in an aravel. And no one has dragged me out of my bed here, yet." She says, cheerfully. "Although that probably also has to do with staying with Alistair. No one's said anything rude to me, but...Velanna's probably already murdered anyone who would, so that's convenient." Thanks, Velanna. "Also: No Templars. I think they're physically repelled by the place."

It was nice of Teren to worry, though. But Beleth was sure this had been the right decision. It lacked a lot of amenities, sure, but everyone here was nice, and there was plenty of space. And safety. It was the safest Beleth had felt sleeping in Skyhold.

Teren looks a little startled by the notion of Beleth being dragged out of bed, and looks askance at her. "This is a thing that happened in Skyhold, is it?"

"Welllllll..." Beleth draws it out, suddenly looking rather embarrassed. Because as ridiculous as Nerva's response had been, the actions that had triggered it were not much better. "There was this meeting. A secret Templar meeting. A secret Templar meeting that no one else was allowed to be in except Templars, and they held it in this room that had this really big hole in the ceiling..."

She sideglances at Teren. "...It's not my fault they're bad at security for their super secret meetings, you know."

More than anything, Teren is exasperated. She purses her lips at the elf, shrewdly narrowing her eyes. "A hole in the ceiling," she repeats, going over the details in her head, "...really, you hadn't thought of just parading through waving your arms and yelling 'hello, I'm listening to everything you say'?"

"They might have gotten less cranky if I'd done that." Beleth mused thoughtfully. "But, I mean--I did hear most of the meeting. It was kind of stupid, but I heard it. And I fed the information to the mage council. Which was...pretty cool. It was probably worth getting dragged out of bed." She rubbed the back of her head thoughtfully. "Nerva did it because she couldn't catch me any other way. I'm pretty slippery when I put my mind to it."

Teren looks unconvinced, or... well, perhaps she's just unimpressed. This is the force being trained by the former Crow?
"Not slippery enough, apparently," she remarks, without rancor. "I trust you've practiced subtlety since then."
