Shh, that's the next bit, innit? Every story's got the baddie.

[And Sera was more than happy to cast herself as the villain this time around. Like Varric'd say, went with the narrative. Fate got to be the hero in this telling. Next group of kids, she'd be it.]

The Great And Mighty, Stupid Hot, Brilliant, Sexy Master of Bees comes in next.

[Villain, sure. But she never claimed to he unbiased.]

[Of all things, that's not really what he expected. Frankly, he was going to just accept that he was the antagonist in this little tale, but Sera's had it swapped around.

He smiles faintly.]

I'll be a good audience and listen, promise.

[She points to Fate with a grin, then holds a finger in front of her lips in the universal sign of 'shhh' as the kids giggle.]

But the room stealer'd done what he was born to do, yeah? Took the poor, empty room away from it's lonely times and filled it with...things...

[She can't say treasures. She'd see the shite he'd piled in there. Like a raccoon collecting shiny bits.]

That made it all whole again. Then the Abandoner came back.

[The room had originally been taken because (A) having a room over the tavern he visited so often seemed convenient and (B) it was terribly amusing on the off chance Sera would return from whatever it was she was doing. Which he was correct about, it was terribly funny at the time, arrows and targets and all.

But right now, it's worth it more as he listens to her tell her story to the Dalish children, who are very invested in Sera's tale.]

What did the Abandoner do next? [The girl in front asks.]

Ah, well.

[ Her tone turned mock serious, the kind of one reserved for 'And Then The Bear Ate All The Kids That Didn't Do Their Chores' or 'Never Trust The Dread Wolf' bits of a story. ]

The Abandoner swore revenge. Just the kinda thing people that go and get too attached to things and not talking to other people go 'round doing. So she cast a plague of bees on the land. And-

[She frowns, looking over at Fate]

Not so sure how that all worked out. He didn't kill all her buzzing minions, yeah?

[Fate chuckles softly and shakes his head.]

No, nothing like that. He lured the bees into a jar with sugar water inside. Most of them agreed to go after such a treat. A few of the bees, unfortunately, continued the Abandoner's orders of vengeance. He mercifully did his best to end their attack swiftly, but most of the bees lived on.

Pfft, figures. Merciful at that. That's how he went and won over lady fair to share his Stolen Room with. Seeing how the Adandoner had to go keep up with some sugar full bees from now on.

[ Is she going there? Oh, after that night with Nerva and Zev she's going there. Deal. ]

[That does earn a pause from Twisted Fate. He looks in Sera's direction, raising a brow. Did she just suggest...?

They are interrupted with a woman elf, clearly a mage, perhaps the First. Her hair is long and blond, Mythal's markings in blue on her face.

She gazes at the children with a frown before addressing Sera. The children quickly scatter away into the camp, though the girl from earlier gives a lingering look, disappointed.]

That is enough, flat-ear.

What? That don't even make sense, sparkly-tits.

[ Language was never something she thought to hold back around kids. No one had done it for her. But her expression goes from amused to ugly in two seconds flat.

This is why we do not bring Sera to Dalish camps. ]

Mine's as pointy as yours. And twice as fun.

[The language seems to make her raise her brows in surprise. Twisted Fate snorts and chokes on a laugh; this is exactly why he brought Sera to the camp. He approves every second of it.

The clan's First scowls at Sera.] You, like many others outside of the Dalish, have lost your way. They don't need your words to poison what they do not yet know.

Oh, Janna; you haven't changed a bit. My grandmother's favorite now that I was pushed out of the picture? [Twisted Fate grins sharply, standing beside Sera.] Still has her staff stuffed up her ass, apparently.

Mm. [Janna scowls. As ever.]

Don't know what yet? That the only good way to live life's to be a shit to people that aren't the right kind of elf? Yeah. Think most toddlers get how to be an ass to things that scare 'em. And guess that's all you need to be a real Elfy Elf.

[ She'd been crouching to talk to the kids, but stands now, barely hearing Fate. As an elf it's rare she doesn't have to glare up at someone, so there's that at least. And the bitch has magic, but she's got...being really scared of magic. Maybe she's more than a little glad Fate was there, after all.]

[Janna's hand tightens around her staff, clearly very cross with Sera with just about anything that comes out of her mouth.] Tobrevas. Do your clan at least one favor, and remove the flat-ear from here. You might find her amusing, but like you, she will do more harm than good.

Well, you're right about one thing. I do find her terribly amusing. And clever, actually. More than I could say for some. But she's here with the rest of the Inquisition. If you don't like it, maybe complain to the Keeper? You're good at that, if I remember right.

No. Don't know why we're bothering here to start. This...little cult? You stay in your woods. don't talk to no one, don't help no one- even yourselves- and see how it goes.You- ugh- you lot're worse than any fucking noble. Least they have to see the people they're hurting. Instead of just pretending they ain't fucking themselves at the same time they're screwing the rest of us.

[It's not surrender. It's not. It's putting her time where it's best at. Sera shoves her tongue between pointer and middle finger at the mage, the turns to go.]

[If Janna's taking offense could become any further out loud, it would somehow exceed a Disgusted Noise. She scoffs and turns away, clearly aggravated as she marches off, nose in the air.

Twisted Fate greatly approves.]
