[Sina doesn't answer right away, but she gives a small intake of breath, her silence dismayed while it lasts.]

...from the Rift? [She sounds like she dreads the answer.] ...Tobrevas, did it hit any other part of you?

[It's still odd to hear his name come from people's mouths. Ten years as Twisted Fate, and here he is as Tobrevas again.]

No. Just my hand. Suppose I'm lucky in comparison to some.

We'll have to worry about it later. Right now... [He sighs.] I could use your advice.

[Wearily,] I suppose you are. [Some like herself, anyway.]

But you should return to Skyhold as soon as you can so we can have a look. [A pause.]

Trust me, I'd rather be back at Skyhold than out here. When we're done, we'll be back. [Because Creators knows he's going to spend a few desperate, hopeless moments trying to get the mark off.]

The matters with the clan and the villagers. It's about as bad as I remembered it being. I suppose I'll have to address concerns for both of them. The humans might be more pliable; they work in terms of trade and merchants. I can work with that.

It's the clan that's strictly more of a problem. They're very good at holding grudges, and frankly I don't know how to get them to move on. I can talk to Orlesian nobles all day, but apparently when it comes to Dalish, it doesn't... [He hates to admit this.] It doesn't come naturally to me.

I've been in contact with Sister Nightingale about how to deal with the human villagers, and I'm leaving that to her. She has spoken out for us, and I trust her discretion.

But... as for Clan Franduil, perhaps I can try to have a word with the Keeper? I can't recall if Thalia and I have met them at an Arlathven, but I may be able to assist in that way.

Perhaps I should have a word with Sister Nightingale, then.

One can hope. Just bear in mind of how incredibly stubborn Keeper Shoshanna is. But if you can convince her that letting go will benefit her clan and to cooperate with the villagers, then I'm willing to give it a try.

I can talk to her for you, since I imagine you're busy. Or... well, whatever you like.

[She listens carefully, taking in his words-- and then gives a small laugh again.] I suppose I can't promise anything, but if she's half as stubborn as Keeper Thalia, I may have a chance. What is it she needs to let go of? The grudge against the villagers?

I appreciate you being so flexible. As long as you're certain that she is managing the villagers, then I'll just try to not worry about it.

Well, a lot of things if you ask me, but yes that primarily. She's hated the humans for too long. I understand she feels responsible for what happened ages ago, but it's time to move on or the clan will suffer further.

[The topic hits fairly close to home, not that Sina was born yet for the misfortune that befell her clan. Still, she grew up surrounded by what she assumes to be a similar attitude to that of Clan Franduil.]
