Glad for the respite from her usual chores down in the camp, Teren makes her way up to the keep and the rookery. She arrives with little fanfare, sketching a small bow as she looks over Leliana.
"Sister Nightingale," she greets brusquely, "you sent for me."

"Warden." A nod of greeting as she stands, hand indicating the chair opposite her at her desk as she finishes rolling up a letter. "Thank you for attending me so promptly. There is a mission that I think could benefit from your experience."

No need for pleasantries, she suspects. They neither of them have time for it.

Teren wouldn't be surprised by the news if she'd made any mention of her previous occupation, at least to anyone but Benevenuta, but... Sister Nightingale has her ways. And Teren has been allowed to live, and to continue her duties among the Wardens, which speaks enough.

"Do tell," she says, keeping her face neutral.

"In its simplest form, a rescue mission. We have reason to believe a Merchant Prince in Antiva City is both trading in slave and delivering them to the Venatori. The slaves must be freed, and any intel that can possibly be gathered must be collected."

She regards Teren quietly, curiously, assessing what information what might be offered to her, if any at all.

"I see." A fairly standard reconnaissance mission, at least on her end. "Is that all we already know?" She files it away in her mind. At its surface, it's not too demanding, and nothing she hasn't done before.

"Not all," Leliana acknowledges, hands folding on the table. "There are more elements to the mission, but the timing is key. The Ambassador has a vested interested in this mission as well, regarding an Orlesian noble who has been expressing an interest in business investments. We must move quickly - the party will be leaving tomorrow."

"Then I shall be among them."

For now, it's all she needs to hear. Being invisible and listening is her modus operandi, which means talking is often kept to a minimum.

"Anything else?"

[fightingale]

"I am glad." For her expertise and her willingness, and that was enough. Leliana hands over a scroll of parchment, containing information on the Orlesian and the the Merchant Prince.

"This will brief you on the intel we already have regarding Fortier and Oleastro. Whatever documents and clues you can gather will be greatly appreciated, but freeing the slaves is paramount." There is a moment of pause, before she adds, "anything definitively or potentially tying Fortier to Oleastro would be especially valuable to the Ambassador."

Sweet, sweet incrimination.

"I see." Teren looks over the scroll, her attention lingering on one of the cases. "I am fluent in Orlesian. I believe I can get in with Fortier and ensure his delivery back to Skyhold."
She's not exactly promising she'll apprehend or deliver him herself, but she has ways of making these things happen.
