I'll be popping a generic open starter in the comments, but if you have something specific you want to thread with her, please hit me up on plurk (

for adelaide.
"Councilor LeBlanc?" The title is strictly polite, but Alysanne's smile is friendly and her demeanor relaxed, if still composed. She is, per usual, dressed in Circle robes of green and fawn, and carrying her staff. If nothing else, it makes her allegiances easily identifiable.
"Alysanne de Forestière of the Markham Circle. I don't believe we've met. Do you have a moment to talk?"
If Adelaide is too busy, then they can have this conversation at another time — Alysanne knows what it's like to have too much on one's plate — but she's also not going to make assumptions.

Perhaps a bit more attention to the political lay of the land would have given her better warning of what was to come.
"Of course." Adelaide herself is in simple enough attire, a blue dress, without embroidery, neither healer's robe nor circle stitching to be seen. Her staff, likewise, is propped in the corner rather than at her side, an occasional tool rather than mark of status as it would have been in the Circles. Littered about are stacks of papers- research, inquiries, requests for funding or resources from other enchanters within the Inquisition- and a long since cooled mug of tea. "Have a seat."
Proper office this corner of the library is not- but she has two chairs and space enough for the odd meeting.

"I've only arrived in Skyhold recently or we might have had this conversation much sooner," she says, with a slightly whimsical smile. "To say this place takes some getting used to is a bit of an understatement, I think."
The Circle tower it is definitely not, and if she hadn't been on her own for months after what happened in Markham, she might not have known quite what to do with herself here.
"You've a Mage Council here, yes? I confess to curiosity."
And a bit more than that, but she'll let Adelaide tell her about it before she says anything else.

"It is a collection of delegates nominated by their peers to relegate Mage matters, act as liaison where required, report to the Inquisition's advisors and handle disciplinary actions when required- which has been infrequent, fortunately." Adelaide sets her notes aside to offer Alysanne the full of her attention. "We've mages of every fraternity and apostates, as well as the acknowledgement of our authority by most of the Inquisition's mages. We manage education, fade training, leave ourselves available to mages that have concerns about...anything, truly, go on missions to offer support in the field, contact the local nobility for additional support...We are attempting to build the foundations of a self-governed alternative to the Circles and College, without Chantry or Templar oversight- though we do cooperate with them when need be."
