Definitely not. The fact that they are both the same type of demon, at least, is currently a boon. The barrier holds, and Merrill will keep an eye on it to recast, but for now she has another spell to boost their chances of success: ice weapons. From Nathaniel's arrows to Jayne's teeth, a frosty bite (pun intended) should help bring the demons down faster.
