The atmosphere as they head out this time is a little more tense, but they're headed for the same place because the chance that it's some sort of cursed location would be far too convenient excuse and therefore it's been entirely dismissed.
At least the day isn't too chilly. Relatively speaking. For the mountains in the south.

"Are you all right? What can I... What can I do?"

"Sorry, I'd not meant to almost pull you over." Even so, he's still feeling a little bit lightheaded, something he attempts to wave off even as he reaches down and feels behind him for something to sit on. "Just tired, that's all. I'll sit down for a bit and be fine soon enough."

He needs to help. He owes them all so very much.

"Look, I'm not all that hurt. Maybe I got knocked around a wee bit, but I've had worse bumps and bruises traveling in the TARDIS." All things considered, he really is in better shape than some of the others. Sure, he's been frightened and drained a bit, but most of the physical damage is minor enough he's not worried about that. Other things...well, he's not sure about those, and he shakes his head.
"So long as my mark doesn't wind up doing that thing again, think I'll be alright in a bit." Still, there's a brief pause, one where his tongue winds out darting out for a second to moisten his lips before he adds, "I'd not say no to some water if you've got that, though.

"Drink as much as you need. And if there's anything else you want or need, easing of some wounds, or something looked at, you need only name it. You've been here for me. I'll be here right back."
no subject
"Thanks, I needed that. And if there's anything else I need, healing-wise, I'll let you know."
It's not something he plans on doing, however, not if he can help it. Not with the others in the shape they are right now, and he winds up unconsciously pulling at his lower lip with his teeth as he glances back out at the small knots of people scattered throughout the area.
"Think there's others that need that more than me, though. That...things didn't go the way they were supposed to, did they?"
no subject
"No." Nothing about it had gone right. "I'm still possessed, something about the barrier interacted with the Fade and my connection with Justice in a way that... Well. You saw and dealt with the demons. Now people are hurt and there's nothing gained."
And he feels like shit about it. A lot of these people are friends and now they're hurt for trying to help him. What sort of asshole gets their friends hurt because they made an error in judgement over a decade ago?
"I wanted better than this."

And felt. And fought, although he didn't blame Anders for that at all. Magic was a tricky thing, as far as he could tell, and sometimes things went wrong. But it was something that was clearly eating at Anders, and that prompted Jamie to reach out to clasp the other man's shoulder. Maybe it would be reassuring, or maybe it wouldn't, but he wanted to let Anders know he still had people to support him until they were able to fix this possession thing once and for all.
"Surely there's not no hope left, though? There's got to be some way we can help you, still."

"There's one more ritual. With greater risk, building on this. I... I don't know that there's hope. But I know I've spent a great deal of my life without it, so at least this isn't something new." The smile he gave Jamie was meant to be reassuring. It probably didn't do the job.
"We'll see what it brings. Though most people here are going to be resting. I don't want a great deal of overlap; you're injured and tired. And you've done more than enough for me by being here and helping, Jamie. You truly have."
