Light flares at the tip of Adelaide's staff, arcing between that point and her hand as she pulls on the Fade- in a moment glyphs burst into being underfoot, fading quickly. Barriers ripple in the air to shield Herc, to shield all of them from the incoming spawn.

He didn't think he'd be missing Justice, honestly, but as he feels how many are heading their way, Anders does a tiny bit. A teensy, itsy-bitsy smidge. The devastation the spirit could have wreaked... but it's better this way. He's himself, and he'll fight the Darkspawn as himself. Barriers are up thanks to Adelaide, so Anders decides to go for a preemptive strike and hurl a large fireball past Herc, toward where the Darkspawn are coming from. Fire's always been his strongest suit. Even if it doesn't hit anything, at least there's fire there now that'll slow up the Darkspawn.
