Teren was supposed to be on Team Raspberry. Ostensibly, she still is. She resisted recruitment for as long as she could, claiming she has much better and less stupid things to do than pelt people with snow, but she eventually caved and agreed to play, as long as she could do so her way. She wasn't very clear about what Her Way meant, and as it turns out, it means anarchy.
The Betrayal (for Team Raspberry)
It happens about ten minutes in: someone from team raspberry is hit with a snowball of their own color. Then it happens again. In the mayhem, it's difficult to tell who or what is responsible, but the tall and shadowy warden on their team is nowhere to be seen. There is treachery afoot.
Further Treachery
a. Periodically, Teren will approach a rival team with her hands up, offering intel in exchange for an alliance against another color. The information is usually good, but unattainable without many casualties. Sometimes it isn't good. Sometimes she does the same thing to two teams at once, absconding before the snowbath and letting them collectively realize they've been had.
b. Oh no, she is hurt. Nearby is a person who she knows has emotions and feels some affection toward her. Please help her, friend. Oh no, there's snow down your back. Oh no. Where did she go.
c. Some other hideous misdirection of your choosing.

Comeuppance?
If you can catch her. She won't go down easy.
