Her own fort is within sight, and Hermione puts forth a burst of speed, intent on bringing both flags home. But then she feels something cold and heavy hit the small of her back, and she wonders for a moment if he really had tackled her as she hits the ground.

But it doesn't feel like the weight of a person on her; it's cold and wet and feels like a very large snowball. She glances behind her, only to see the little pile of snow that's fallen over her backside, and she tries to crawl out under it, pouting even as she tries protecting the flags with her body. "That's cheating!"

Because, of course, anything that isn't a snowball is cheating. It's right there in the rules she'd just made up.
