It's difficult to say whether Clarke and Lexa have met on this stupid pretend battlefield, time being stupid and pretend as well. But they have or if they haven't then they will, and hopefully it either has been or will be different enough--with its snow and its sashes and its total lack of real stakes--not to call up too many bad memories.
Bellamy is good at calling them up all on his own, setting be damned, and for Lexa the ones he prompts are fresher, if less bad in some ways. Bad enough she's not about to be friendly, especially if he's clearly not going to make any effort. But as always she likes the high ground, and while she's been the one to shorten that distance between them she's also hesitating to attack first.
"Yes. I got what I came for." Not a scrap of uncertainty in her voice or demeanor. It's not a question of if but how. Is he going to make her tackle him and take his flag, or is this going to end peacefully? She turns seven into five.
