So that would be a no on the mabari appreciation.

He pauses to finish off his bread, chew and swallow and give serious consideration to licking his fingers--but no. He is, as stated, Orlesian.

"I have an animal," he goes on, with a confiding air, "that is more like a cat than a dog, but I could not call it a cat. We have not decided what to call it. I bought it from a pirate in Rivain. It has little fingers like a nug."
