[ open?? closed? schrödinger's log?? ] heroes always get remembered
WHO: Lex Luthor, assorted guest stars, and YOU??
WHAT: General intro purposes? Get you some arms and armor made, Inquisition! Geek out in the library! Be confused by the incongruous noble all up in the Undercroft!
WHEN: Approximately now - the end of August.
WHERE: Skyhold: the Undercroft + Library + the buffet option
NOTES: Starters in comments. As it stands no warnings are required; I'll edit here a/o subject lines if that changes. Here is Lex's info post for anyone who'd like to run with the idea that they've heard of him/had contact before!

Being possessed of the incredibly informed opinion most not!Orlesians have of Orlais when they've only ever visited and spoken mostly to people wearing silly hats, Lex is more than comfortable with his first forays into the Inquisition taking place in Skyhold and not Halamshiral. That's where he's ultimately most useful anyway; he suffers no illusions regarding any diplomatic capabilities that don't involve ensnaring largeish globs of money.
The day side ....globbage occurs, however, is not this day or, nor is it whatever other days this log ends up involving. No, instead here we are in Skyhold, where Lex's general occupancy encompasses the following:

At present, she has set up shop at her preferred table in the Herald's Rest, sewing supplies set out in front of her as she nurses an ale and works on taking in a warden's tunic. There are several others in the pile before her, indicating that she's got quite a bit to do, and perhaps she made the choice to sit where her fingers wouldn't be stiff and cold and making threading needles difficult.
She sees the boy again, below her, and wrinkles her brow at him. Once again she offers no greeting, but if he should look up, she'll meet his gaze.

....anyway. Without falling into an endless cycle of noticing what people are noticing, Lex does have an affinity for knowing when he is being watched, because as noted somewhere else in this post, he is a deeply paranoid person. And he pays special attention to wardens, for complicated reasons.
So yes, some not so enchanted evening their gazes do meet (across a crooooowded room), Lex's brows and chin lifting in greeting--or at least acknowledgement.

At his silent greeting, Teren offers a wry look-- it seems to say, yes, hello, Ser Thinks-He's-Clever. Not that she has any inkling of what that could even mean, but she's a person who trusts her intuition.
If he holds her gaze, she nudges her head toward her table, inviting him to come up so they can meet properly.

...which is to say her intuition is pretty good. In fairness he comes by it honestly, but--yeah. Still blindingly accurate. Despite all the projecting amicability he's not actually in here because he wants to socialize - he is in fact in here so he can buy alcohol and then not do that - but that's difficult to convey from down here, and he doesn't know what she wants, so. He taps his chest in genteel shock - who, little old me? - and ambles up, brows still all expressive, blue eyes incisive and bright.
"You weren't roundaboutly inquiring if I have anything to be mended, I hope." It's dry, but also not like, entirely a joke (in lieu of a greeting), because he and social cues are not always the very best of friends, and she does have her work out and stuff, so! Interaction is confusing. x_x

"You're everywhere," she observes, dodging his joke, "someone's errand boy?"

"You're not doing anything," she decides, and without hesitation, tosses him one end of a measuring tape. "Hold this, I need more hands than two."
