WHAT: The group is off to stop Red Templars and visit the Empress's soldiers.
WHEN: IC it's August 30 for the main event, add a few days of padding for travel time to and from.
WHERE: southeast Orlais, not many days out from Skyhold at a front in the War of the Lions

"You know, there are certain people she tends to take a fancy to, but naturally she won't articulate why." That would be too easy. Christine still thinks it odd how Faith spoke like a proud parent to Aleron in the Fade. Aren't spirits drawn to mages? Why would she keep gravitating towards a Seeker? It's a mystery for the ages.

"That is the interesting thing about her. We communicate, and the longer she observes the world, the better she is at communicating, but I think she just likes being mysterious too."

"Spirits are rarely straightforward, aren't they? Not in a way that those of us across the Veil often understand. Maybe she's waiting for you to figure it out, see the world her way. I dunno, I could be talking out my ass. Spirits aren't my forte."

That's definitely one reason why Korrin doesn't have an affinity for them in the same way. It's opposite to how she thinks and communicates, so every interaction takes significant effort. That said, Faith was pleased when Korrin had encountered her.

"It is a good theory," she admits, dipping her head slightly in a nod. "After all she has done to try and better understand our world, I should try to better understand her, no?" After all, this partnership that is now a friendship should have both sides meeting halfway.

"I believe I will need her guidance and support in the days to come."

"It won't be all on her, I promise. Whatever happens, you'll have our support too." Korrin's grateful that Christine has her companion, especially now. And support from both sides of the Veil can only help, right? At least she hopes so.

Christine smiles faintly. Growing up in the Circle, she never would have imagined she would find such a devoted friend in a person like Korrin. There were no Vashoth mages in Orlais, of course. Or at least, there were none who would submit to living in a Circle.

"Thank you, Korrin. You are a dear friend to me. As are Sam, and Church." Her eyes dart away to look at their group. "And truly all of them are either becoming friends or have my gratitude. Life works in strange ways."
