It is very possible that is all those two would say. Cyril might say more since he's grown up with mages, but now that he's thinking about it, it would be interesting to know what they would say for something like this.

"The letter about me dying in some bizarre hunting incident because I was mistaken for just your average wild life? Yeah, probably better not to have that happen, but you know, just in case."

Yes, it does seem their conversation has Christine thinking about things that Sam was trying to stop her from thinking of.

"So what do you think you'll try riding when we get back? A horse? Hart? You know Korrin was suggesting I get a saddle."

"Scandalous? I would say it's being a good sport about. Of course if anyone wanted to they'd have to supply their own saddle and have to strap it on. I'm not carrying around my own." Even though the form was for him to get around easier, he has thought about it and figured it would benefit others, too.

"I'm pretty sure you'd be thrown off a hart if you tried that." Or in his case he'd probably sit down. He only accepted ribbons and pretty things on his horns, Christine. Standards.

"I find the harts a lot more docile, but there are a several horses that would meet your requirement. Unless they're all out." There have been quite a number of people getting lessons, or needing a less tempered horse for missions as of late.

"I get points every time I recommend someone to them. I'm up to ten." Sam shakes his head lightly at the silliness of it all. "No, just my personal experience when I was freshening up my riding skills, and when I helped Kirk learn how not to fall out of a saddle."

"No, apparently they have something like 'motorcycles' that they ride around. And smaller ships." Wouldn't it be skysick in this case?

"It takes... a lot of time to get one 'simple' thing explained often. Like... zippers." That had been a fun learning experience.

Right? Especially if you stressed different parts of the word, or made the 'p' pop.

"I wouldn't want to be sent away, but honestly I'm a bit curious to see some of these worlds. A place with no magic... seems so odd."

"As long as people have different views I'm sure that will never be a thing. Still would be interested in seeing other worlds though." Trying to be optimistic here, Christine.

[OoC: Good for me!]

At the silence Sam nods, patting Christine on the leg. "I'm going to see how everyone else is doing then make my way back up. Alright?" Turning to leave he pauses, looking over his shoulder. "Don't fall off the horse while I'm gone."
