WHO: Open to anyone that wants wine and warmth and a little company.
WHAT: Wine and no whining.
WHEN: After the mage meeting wraps up.
WHERE: Close to the healing tents, specifically the Orlesian section.
NOTES: There will be wine, drinking, unwinding, and nibbles.

The meeting had been stressful for just about everyone involved. Tempers had flared, opinions made known, a few rounds of confetti and arguing before some manner of accord. Whether it would last or however long it might? No one could truly say. In the interest of being quite done with the stress and headaches such debate brought on the Orlesian healing tents clearing out the potions, bandages, and poultices in favor of what cushions and braziers they had on hand for light and for heat. The space was open, warm, and inviting with an odd assortment of tin mugs or clay glasses set around flat side tables propped up with stones to keep them from wobbling and tipping the whole mass onto the ground. There are some dried fruits and hard cheeses, dried meat and hard crusted bread- whatever scraps they could scavenge or spare and a few bottles of wine or brandy. Across the entrance to the tents there was a sign:

Bring a bottle or food to share for entry.

Tacked below was a list of rules:

• Everyone is welcome, don't make a fuss
• Don't hog the wine
• Don't hog the food
• Don't fight or argue
• If you finish a bottle open a new one, don't recork it for someone else to find
• Clean up after yourselves

Sam doesn't mind the contact at all, even putting his arm back a bit so that Cyril had more room to just lean. "Maybe you should find something for her to do that isn't work then."

"I should find her a nice man, perhaps. She could use a nice man."

[el_tybs]

Find her a nice man. That has Sam snorting in amusement. "And you know what she considers a 'nice' man?"

[samahl]

He shrugs a bit. "The only man I've seen her really go for is Gavin and that... It ended poorly." He frowns a bit at the idea.

That... had he heard that right? "Gavin and Pel were a thing?" He only knew everyone a little bit, though Gavin more then Pel at the moment, but he couldn't quite see it.

[samahl]

Cyril winced a bit as he realized what he had done by sharing that information. "That's... likely very private information that shouldn't be shared..."

Now he's curious, but Sam knows when to let things go. "None taken. So besides THAT... who would you think Pel would go for?"

[samahl]

Cyril thinks it over. "Hm," he says after a moment. "Someone stable. Someone who brings out the best in her, who makes her laugh. She certainly needs more laughter in her life."

"Those are all good qualities to look for. 'Stable' might be a little hard to come by though."

[samahl]

"That's true. This organization does seem to be filled with those who have no other place to fit in."

[el_tybs]

"Well that's probably true for a majority of us," he chuckles, eyes looking over the crowd to find Pel among it. "If not now, maybe when all this mess is done."

[samahl]

"Maybe. If we're all alive. It would be nice to focus on."

[el_tybs]

"Well. Good goals to have. Live through all this. Find someone who will treat Pel well. Not too hard right?"

[samahl]

"I honestly think the first one might be easier. It's rare to find someone who I might consider worthy of her."

[el_tybs]

"Oh. You could have mentioned that condition before. That does make it a lot harder." There's a moment of silence before Sam grins. "Does he get through the door if he's good looking at least?"

[samahl]

"It helps. Pel deserves pretty things. She won't allow them for herself."

[el_tybs]

"Pretty specifically or does handsome work as well?"

[samahl]

"Did you have something in mind?"

[el_tybs]

"None at all. Just clarifying for my mental list. Even so I don't know Pel's tastes that well."

[samahl]

"Perhaps we should think of sneaky way to ask her."

[el_tybs]

"Sounds like something you could do easily with her. That might be kind of weird for me to ask."

[samahl]

Cyril chuckles a bit. "Excellent point. I'll have to get creative."

[el_tybs]

"I have confidence that you can pull it off." Sam shakes his head in amusement. Just picturing himself asking Pel anything of the sort just screamed something was up.

[samahl]

"Maybe we'll play a game, 'Describe your ideal guy in five sentences or less.'"

[el_tybs]

"Oh? Are you prepared if she asks you the question right back? Five sentences... Maybe you should say ten words and then ask her to elaborate after."
