Clan Ashara currently resides in a small valley nestled into the mountains, that seems idyllic for a Dalish clan. A stream runs through the valley, descending into a waterfall with the steep cliffs on one side, and sheer mountain walls going straight up on two other sides. The only way in and out is through a gap big enough to lead several aravels through. It's a defensible position, safe from any threats. Except the fade rift that has opened up just a little ways from the gap. The hunters can handle the demons spewing from it well enough, and there are always a couple stationed there to pick off whatever appears. But it's too dangerous to lead the aravels and noncombatants through, and thus, they are forced to wait. To compound the issue, there's a village close to where they're currently staying, and while both sides have kept to themselves, neither are pleased with the current situation. They've helped get a message to the Inquisition in hopes that someone will come take care of the problem, and now both are tensely waiting for something to happen to change the situation, for better or worse. And so the members of Clan Ashara, with their friends in tow, return back to their clan.

Sam raises a brow at the warning. "Intense? How?" Was she the reason Cyril was so nervous about going back?

[samahl]

"She... She is just tough. That's all. You have to be in her position. She's not evil or anything, so don't worry about that. She just expects her people to be the best."

[el_tybs]

"I don't think they'd let a human be in that position." Kidding, he's kidding. "Well I've lived in the Circle for a good while. I think I can handle this kind of intense."

[samahl]

He nods at that. "Are there many Circle mages like that? I only really know you and Anders. You're so sweet and Anders is... Well, Anders." And therefore complicated.

[el_tybs]

"You haven't met Madame de Fer? And I wouldn't call her intense, but I wouldn't get on Adelaide's bad side." There are plenty of other Circle mages, but some he doesn't know, or just wouldn't consider 'intense'.

[samahl]

"I've seen Madame de Fer around and heard of her, of course, but I haven't had the pleasure of meeting her. Pel told me about the time she pampered the mage council. Almost makes me want to get on her good side." He thinks about this for a moment. "She's beautiful. Adelaide is as well, but again I know her by reputation."

"I've met her once - that was very intense. She's very polite, but she has this air about her... she's very pro Circle, which is what makes her intense for me. And I did hear about the spa day." He's a little jealous, but no reason for him to go onto the council - course he suspects there was some ulterior motive.

"Really, you haven't met Adelaide? Well glad to hear you haven't needed to see her for any healing."

"To be fair, I do have you and Anders for healing if I do mind myself needing it."

"I suppose we do have you covered in that sense." There's a pause as Sam is thoughtful for a moment. "Should we do that? I mean, us going to a spa sometime?"

[samahl]

"You and me?" Cyril asks. He grins at the idea. "Oh, I'd love that."

[el_tybs]

Sam grins as well as how Cyril seems to brighten up with that idea. "Yes, you and me." Unless they both wanted to bring someone along. "I guess that's something we can plan after this trip." Something to look forward to.

[samahl]

Cyril nods. "How are we going to get the coin for that?" he asks, thinking over the possibilities.

[el_tybs]

"Hm. Good question. I do have some money saved up... I suppose it would depend on where we go spa? Perhaps we could try using 'we're part of the Inquisition' to get a discount." Humming in thought for a moment he gives a shrug. "Could always see if there is anyone at Skyhold that can do something like a spa."

[samahl]

"That might be fun. A spa at Skyhold..." He seems to consider that for a moment, wondering what it would take to set something like that up.

[el_tybs]

"Maybe we could set something up by the hot spring?" Wall off a section for a time perhaps? Honestly Sam isn't quite sure since he hasn't done a spa thing himself yet, but it certainly seemed like something Cyril might enjoy. That and it appeared to be distracting him from whatever was making him nervous.

[samahl]

Cyril chuckles a bit. "It would probably be a lot of work, but worth it to let people feel pampered every once and a while."

[el_tybs]

Nodding at that, Sam shifts to get a bit more comfortable before leaning back into Cyril. "Could always bring it up to someone and see if it is a potential thing to have for everyone. Some more jobs. People feeling relaxed." A soft chuckle. "You could teach others how to massage."

[samahl]

"And take all of the beautiful, muscular men for myself," Cyril replied, grinning. "I like that idea."

[el_tybs]

"I figured you might. But I don't know if I'm all for that idea. That would drastically cut down time that I would get a massage from you. How about you take some?"

[samahl]

He chuckles a bit. "Well, then I'll have to ensure that you always get the first spot."

[el_tybs]

"Hm." Sam hums lightly, bringing a hand up to scratch at his chin as if he's honestly contemplating this. "I suppose that would be suitable" he says, smiling all the while. "You know, perhaps you should teach me so I know how to do that better. So I can return the favor of course."

[samahl]

"I'd like that," Cyril admitted after a moment. "I like it when you have your hands all over me."

[el_tybs]

"So I've noticed," he chuckles lightly, leaning in so that he can nuzzle the side of Cyril's head affectionately. "Course I'll have to be mindful of not doing that when we actually get to the Clan, right?"

[samahl]

Cyril hums softly and tilts his head to enjoy the snuggle. He sighs a bit. "Probably not, though I imagine people are going to be more distracted by Metaari than anything else."

It makes Cyril miss Taas, but he's comforted that Sam is there and can put his arms around him.

Poor Metaari, he was going to get a lot of attention wasn't he? "Well as long as a certain someone doesn't tempt me, I should be able to keep my hands to myself." Honestly, Cyril was always tempting even when he didn't try. It wouldn't be too hard to keep to himself, just annoying really.
