Sina has now been in the healing tents for several days, mostly just for the purpose of being watched, since it's been difficult to get her to eat or talk to anyone. She's been beyond disconsolate, instead just blank and tired, as though she's shut down entirely, and remains withdrawn for the sake of preserving her own sanity.
She's never seen anything like that before. She's never been hurt like this before. And never, in a thousand lifetimes, would she ever have thought it would be brought on by her own people.
