The Inquisition has been here before. They visited to ease the tensions between Clan Frandruil and the human village Kaladoun. As they left, peace had seemed to be reached. The Clan's Keeper, Shoshanna, has not kept up her part of the treaty. The Clan was meant to leave and give the village space, but it seems there's always a good reason to stay in place. The Clan's First, Janna, has put aside her pride to reach out to the Inquisition for help. As she has been regularly communicating with the Dalish liaison for the Inquisition, Cyril has agreed to put together a team and help the clan vacate.

While they are there they will break into two groups, one will help the Clan pack up and the other will go into the village and ease tensions there. Once the Clan is ready, all members of the Inquisition who came will reunite and help the Clan move to a new location and settle, to help them get back into the spirit of the nomadic lifestyle.

The mention of the damage to the Wardens thanks to Corypheus and the Clarel does give Sam a little bit of pause. Could you blame him? An order that was dwindling in numbers and probably actively looking to get more recruits, and he'd be joining them, but not joining them? There is a bit of worry of the pressure that could come of that. He's not at all looking down on their work, and respected the Wardens, but it wasn't something he was looking to enlist himself in.

If what Anders said was true though, and he could just be a hired healer and blacksmith... The comment about the zoo does make him laugh.

"I'll consider it. I want to leave my options open for obvious reasons."

"Of course. Options are nice things to have." He might be a little jealous of Sam for having them, but he's still glad for the other mage. This is the end result of so much chaos and a sign of the future.

"Whatever you choose, I'm glad to work with you now and for the near future. You're a good man and a good mage." Which might not count for much coming from Anders, but he believes it nonetheless.

"I mean I have to consider where I'm putting all the animals, right?" Obviously that was not whom he was referring to, but now that he mentions it he does have to consider this.

Sam gives a huff at that. "You aren't too bad yourself." He still doesn't fully agree with what Anders had done, but he knew enough, seen enough now that this thing with mages was never going to be easy. Anders also was not having issues with Justice now, so things were different.

"Of course," he says with a grin that softens considerably at Sam's other words. It's possible he doesn't know how much that means to Anders. While he doesn't want to think of himself as a bad person, it can get hard to separate himself from peoples' reactions and words and what he's done in the past.

"Thank you." It's quiet. "I'll take my leave for now, then, before your newest packmember decides to taste my robes? I believe we're nearly ready to resume travel."
