Stables
One place that people could be sure to find Iskandar was at the stables. He was here a great deal since this was where his horse was and where he'd really been sleeping. When people weren't interested in sharing their beds with him anyway. That was something that certainly happened plenty since he was very large and warm. But for today he was currently seated near a wall, singing softly in a language many natives wouldn't recognize. Perhaps many Rifters wouldn't either. After all, it was his native tongue and there weren't going to be many familiar with Ancient Macedonian.
In his hands was a saddle which he had over one knee while he rubbed the leather down with an oil to keep it looking beautiful. Perhaps most Kings would find someone else to do this but this was something Iskandar had always preferred to do himself. There was just something so relaxing about it. Of course, this didn't stop him from noticing company when it arrived and he smiled at the new arrival, still singing as he did.
Library
It likely wasn't common to see a giant man enjoying so many books but there he was on the floor of the library with a nice pile of them around him. The subjects varied but it was clear he really was reading through them. In his hands right now was what looked like something about the histories of some land and he was scratching his chin as he read through it. Now and then he made a small hum in thought before he finally closed the book and went to stretch, pausing only a moment to smile.
"Ah did you want to read this one?"
Tavern
One of Iskandar's favorite places to be was the tavern. It was here he learned many of the songs of these lands and where he watched people just live. It was fascinating to say the least but it did have him developing a burning desire of sorts. One that was like an itch he couldn't quite reach. He was really going to have to take care of that soon. Which was why he went to sit near the first person that he saw that had a seat available.
At least the first thing he gave was a smile.
"Would you happen to know where one could obtain a harp or lyre?" Yes, he really was going to need one soon.
[ooc: This is an example of what Iskandar's voice would sound like. For obvious reasons this is not what he's singing. This is just to give you an idea of what the tone and such would be!]

"Should you teach a warrior how to throw snow properly though?"
no subject
"Probably not, but I'm sure you would've figured it out anyways." Still moving, Sam grabs more snow on the go and packs it before tossing it at Iskandar again. It gets far enough to reach, but ends up hitting the tree instead.

"Come here! I have gifts for you!"
no subject
"That's okay! You can keep those!"
no subject
And he was laughing again as he continued to chase after him. Snow was proving to be a surprising amount of fun actually!

"Well I'm glad you don't plan on burying me in snow, but I think I'm being effectively hidden with this cloak." He wasn't a small guy, but even for him it was rather large, easily pulling it around himself.

What? He was still perfectly in the mood even with the interruption of a snowball fight.

"You're insufferable," he huffs with mirth, bringing his hand up to straighten out his locks so that he didn't look as disheveled when they got back to the gate. "I won't even get to the food or drink." Even if Iskandar mentioned it, it was obvious that the man would be distracting him thoroughly when they got someplace warm.
no subject
Really anyone could hear him say that. There was no shame from this man in anything. Ever.
no subject
"Perhaps. Though we'll have to be a bit quiet in the loft if we go there since people will be trying to work."
no subject
As loud as he was, he sure knew how to make others louder in bed when he put his mind to it. Which certainly made matters interesting when it came to mid-day sexual encounters.

It was times like this that he regretted not having a more private place, or at least one with a door since everything with Iskandar tended to be loud, or at least vocal.
no subject
"If no one is in the stables that could work. Or an abandoned corridor." Well at least he knew how to get creative.
no subject
"Is there often no one in the stables?" That sounded like a place that people would be by all the time, or at least he assumed, unless it was late at night. "You know of abandoned corridors in Skyhold?"
no subject
After all, if his powers were going to be different then he needed to learn to use them again! It was rather essential really!

Wait.
Sam stops in his tracks and just looks at Iskandar, hands coming up in a stop motion. "Wait... you can turn invisible?"
no subject
He smiled at him then. "In my world I can go into a spirit form where I have no solid form but exist without being seen and only felt by the one who summoned me. I usually prefer not to stay like this though. Why hide when I can show the world who and where I am instead?"
no subject
Sam balks slightly at the smile and matter-of-fact explanation, mostly because he's still having a hard time picturing this loud and large man being able to put something like that off. "...So what does it look like now?"
no subject
"I am very much here but you cannot see me."
