I've tried everything short of Genitivi

WHO: Adelaide, Jamie McCrimmon, Sigrun
WHAT: Tent Shenanigans
WHEN: Firstfall
WHERE: Fallow Mire
NOTES: Nightmares, spirits, the undead, etc.

Sleeping in tents wasn't something done easily even when the weather was good, the area secure, and all fellows sharing the tent sound, quiet sleepers. When one suffered the nightmares of a Warden, one couldn't sleep for the murmurs of the restless spirits in the bog, and one attempted to make up the difference by being a deep sleeper unless roused? It made for an interesting or stressful sleeping arrangement depending on who was asked.

Out of the three people sharing the tent, Jamie was either the luckiest or the most oblivious, depending on who you were talking to. He'd long had the ability to fall asleep and stay asleep just about anywhere, to the point where his friends would comment that about the only thing that could wake him up would be a bomb dropping.

This wasn't strictly true, of course. There were ways to wake him up, if someone wanted to put in a little effort to do so - and maybe wanted to throw in a bit of food or some tea along the way. Disturbances would work, too, although they would have to be fairly large ones in order to work quickly. Otherwise, though, you'd be hard pressed to get him up until he was good and ready to get up.

Right now appeared to be one of those times. Wrapped up in a blanket in an attempt to ward off the damp, he was apparently out cold, currently oblivious to nightmares or restless spirits. Whether or not he would stay that way? Well, that remained to be seen, as he'd decided to go to sleep right in the middle of the tent, putting him easily in earshot (or armshot) of the tent's more restless occupants. At least for now he was only possibly in the way and not snoring, so there were some small mercies, but what would come of the rest of it only time would tell.
