foxsays: (Glory and gore)

With the guests all moving to where they aren't going to be in the firing line, Araceli takes her chance while Korrin's spells are working to race out with her knife. There's no amulet around her neck to conceal her tonight because this was all meant to be about her bard training. It's a Red Templar they're facing so she wants them down as quick as possible before they draw too many others here (if there's one, there are bound to be others nearby) and because she's wary of lyrium after her experience at the hands of the Venatori.

The red stuff? The thought of that has her blood running cold.

It's a horror, that much she knew from what flew through the air but that means exposed flesh for her knife so strike and she aims under the arm, dragging down over the ribs, careful to avoid catching on bone as it howls, clawed hand lashing out. The spell jangles through Araceli too, teeth gritted against it with a curse.
