"I — ah —" Alan shakes his leg free of what was, until recently, an improvised clothesline. Is it too late to claim he was just passing through? Probably. "— I was looking for Anders?"

And definitely not getting sidetracked by anything that looks remotely like a dragon. He shoots a wild look over his shoulder to the dracolisk, sags with abrupt relief to see it still occupied.

"But I don't think he's in right now. Are you, is that yours?"

[amygdalae]

Bruce pauses for a moment since he does have to digest for looking for Anders would equate to everything that he's seeing right now, but at this point he knows better than to ask. At least it seemed like nobody was really hurt. At least physically.

"It's not his shift." And that's all Bruce will say about him; his feelings to Anders aren't as hostile as before, but he still very much prefers the lack of association. At his next words Bruce glances at the dracolisk in question, watching unimpressively as it continues to happily chew down the free food it had gotten.

After a bit Bruce looks back at him. "It's... under my care, yes." A pause. "Did it do something?"

[alankazam]

"He's beautiful," The dracolisk, not Anders. Alan's tastes typically run a little less terrorist-y. "Or she, I suppose."

But that appreciation doesn't mean he looks any less harried for it.

"Friendly, too."

[amygdalae]

"Uh." It takes a moment for Bruce to really process the response. He blinks once, twice, then turns towards the dracolisk and starts to try and get it away from the general mess.

"My apologies," he says while doing so. "It likes to do its own thing."
