It comes from over the rim of her cup as Ciri shoots the three a look with a raised brow to try and make sense of the mess of words. Carefully, she looks to Nessa out of the corner of her eye and sighs with another needed gulp from her goblet.
"Dark and grumpy," she says, popping another tiny cake into her mouth with a pointed look to the demanding one. "You first, what is it you wanna know? I'm not one for babbling and there's too much to go over considering their numbers."
Inessa's lips twitch at their enthusiasm, not able to muster irritation when she herself would be just as excited. The return of the griffons, or at least a small portion of them, means so much to the Grey Wardens as a whole. Giving Ciri more of a chance to sip and enjoy her tiny cakes, she speaks up.
"There are thirteen, though one is lacking a wing so only twelve qualify as mounts. I've ridden but one, a light grey named Potato--I did not pick the name, but she will answer to nothing else." So, don't blame her for that. At the question, she glances over to Ciri.
"I wouldn't say no to a look at the eyrie, if you're up for it." They might be able to learn more than they can from observing the dining hall as well, a fact she's sure won't escape her friend. But if Ciri doesn't think it worth the risk, she won't put up a fuss.

There are suddenly three young Wardens at Ciri and Inessa's table, all three of them talking over at once.
"Talk," one of them demands tersely.
"Have you ridden them?" gasps another.
"You want to see the eyrie upstairs?" babbles the last.
