It's not every day the First Warden has a birthday party. In fact, it only happens once a year, provided multiple First Wardens don't get offed. It's been known to happen.

But it isn't happening any time soon, likely, which means the big birthday party with a lot of invitees is the best place to crash to try to get some desperately needed information. And while there are certainly dignified ways to do it, by slipping in a few bards or some servants, dignity is low on the list for this infiltration.

Their mission, as they've chosen to accept it, is to gather information while pretending to be entertainers. Let's hope this doesn't self destruct in five, four, three, two...

"In a manner of speaking," she says with a slight wave of her hand. "The First Warden doesn't get out much but he might recognize some of us from the tales like Anders who keeps such famous company."

Okay, now he's curious, concerns about possibly jeopardizing the mission set aside for the moment. "I haven't been in Thedas real long. What kind of people does Anders "keep company" with?"

[ichaer]

"People like the Hero of Ferelden and the Champion. One stopped the Blight and the saved the world while the other basically helped to change the entire world. Not a bad thing, mind you: change but it set a lot of things in motion."

As she talks, Ciri continues to gaze at the fabric before looking up to the unfamiliar face and giving a loop sided grin. "So, yeah, he's pretty popular by association."

And, you know, blowing up the Chantry in Kirkwall but details...

Luckily, Anders doesn't really know all of who was involved or what really happened with that Chantry explosion.

"Now that's impressive. He sure knows how to pick his friends, huh?" Perhaps Anders will ask him about those two sometime. They sound important! "Are these people helping the Inquisition at all?"

[ichaer]

Lucky him, considering the massive headache it has been for them.

"Something like like," she says with a wrinkled nose. "Not really. Both are missing though the Warden Commander slash Prince Consort slash big Hero can stay gone. Not sure what is up with Hawke though, her sister Bethany is a Warden too with us so I think we might have better luck with finding the Champion."

[crowncitizen]

"Wait, two big heroic figures have gone missing?" Prompto doesn't know squat about either of them, so he won't pass judgment about whether them being missing is a good thing or not. Though a missing Prince Consort sounds extremely serious, even if the guy is a jerk, from Ciri's implications. "That's... well, with all the crap that's going on, that's probably not a coincidence."

[ichaer]

"Probably not but I don't think Thedas and coincidence mix up real well," she mutters with a sigh. "They're probably off doing big heroic things. Certainly not dead, that's for damn sure given their steak thus far."

[crowncitizen]

Well, not dead would be a good thing. "You sound pretty confident. You don't think there's a chance that something happened to them?"
