NOTES: Oghren. Really he's the main warning you need in this.

When one was thinking about a very drunk dwarf who was rough around the edges and more than a little gross and perverted, one did not usually expect to find said dwarf in the market looking around at different toys and games for children. Yet this was where Oghren was for most of this month, studying the different things there and grumbling to himself as he debated whether one was better than another. Would this be fun? Would anyone want something like this one here?

Crossing his arms, he stared at one stand, looking back and forth between a board game and what looked like a wooden puzzle that made a duck. One of those brain teaser things that he obviously he would never be able to solve.

"Felsi's better at this than I am," he mumbled before noticing someone watching him. "Looking at a free show here?"

Okay maybe he was a little moody because he hated being so bad at this. Don't mind him.

[ooc: Oghren is looking for toys/games to send to his kid! Don't mind him being moody though. He's just having issues with the fact that he feels like a failure of a dad for not knowing how to toy shop.]

Cyril sold puzzles and handmade trinkets to sell along with traps and arrows while they were in Skyhold and might be sizing up this place to see how he might do if he tries to do the same here. He notices Oghren and recognizes him as a Warden with the Inquisition. They've never spoken before but he can figure how what Oghren is looking for.

"Trying to find a gift?" he asks.

He noticed the elf and...how he was just as pretty as the rest of them. That had to be an elf thing. All pretty and just sort of looking like girls and boys at the same time. It was a little weird but eh whatever. He had some good elf friends now so what did he care?

"Yeah. Got any ideas for something a boy would like?"

"What sorts of things does the boy like? He is a puzzle sort? Or more of a toy sword sort?" he asked, seeking clarification. "Or perhaps something else?" One shouldn't assume after all.

"Definitely likes the puzzles. He doesn't get that from me, that's for sure. I can't figure out any of the sodding things." Definitely not his area. But if his kid liked them then puzzles he would have. Oh right, his son's age my help. "He's around ten."

"Puzzles are great! I have these little boxes that I make with interlocking pieces. You try to make the pictures line up. I can give you one, if you'd like? I used to make them for my brother when he was younger. They helped him calm down by giving him something to focus on."

His eyes widened. That sort of offer wasn't one he'd been expecting but for his kid no way was he going to question it. Oghren knew he was a terrible father in general but he really did try so hard to at least do his best for the boy. "Really? My little nugget would really like that sort of thing!"

Cyril can't help but find the term 'little nugget' super adorable, so he smiles at that. "I can make one just for him. Do you know colors or things he likes? I can paint the pictures you match up to go with those sorts of things. Otherwise I can use animals or plants or things."

"Told me once he likes the color red. Not sure why that color really." He seriously has no idea it's because it's his hair color so the the color reminds his boy of his father. He's not that good at picking up on the little things...most of the time. "Otherwise I guess just...those things you mentioned. Yeah. That should be good."

"Then, I could do a design in red on one side and some sort of animal on the other?" Cyril offers. "If you give me a couple days, I should be able to finish it. I wasn't sure if you were looking for something right now."

"So do you want some kind of payment for this? I've got some money from Wardening so I can manage it." Anything for his kid honestly.

"Oh, of course. I have a normal rate that covers cost of materials and my time to make one. I could also show you some samples of things I've made before, to make sure it's something you'd be interested in."

"Can't say I'd have a good opinion on what's good and not. So you're gonna have to walk me through it. But yeah I'll make sure to pay you for this. When can I see these samples?" Not like he was usually that busy. So it was really up to the elf on when was a good time.

"I have a stall open in the Gallows during most days. You can see some of them there?" Cyril suggested, smiling. He liked that he could be useful.
