All around the city of Kirkwall, you'll see them. Two young men - one tall, one slightly shorter. One with dark straight hair, one with blonde curls. Almond-shaped brown eyes with a twinkle, and solemn blue ones. They would be in the market stalls, Hightown and Lowtown, all over, bargaining at tables and perhaps just waiting for a merchant to turn their back so they could slip it into a well positioned pocket.
If you see them, just try not to get them caught ... and if you got a job? Well. They'll be happy to oblige you.
For Anders
True to form, the lanterns were followed, and one dark-haired, pointy-eared head popped around the corner, looking surprised and pleased at what he found. Well, outside a clinic for all the poor and unfortunates.
"Oi, I didn't know you were This healer." Adasse proclaimed. "You're famous, you are."

This is Adasse's friend, he's not going to insult the guy in his own place. Even if doing that is very, very tempting.
Instead, he lets Adasse and Anders talk, idly kicking at the floor with one foot.

"Thank you," he says to Adasse as he takes the package and opens it up, smiling faintly when he sees the drawing.
"The children will likely appreciate this until I make them sound out and spell dragon. How many coppers was it for the frame?"

"I thought you said a copper... but I could do two, since that's double what I believe I heard on the crystal, and then I'll hear out the muralist recommendations." He's not trying to shortchange them, but every coin he spends on this comes out of what he can give to the Clinic for slightly more important uses.

"Two coppers is acceptable - names run as follow. Sneaky Peter down under the docks - he's into open expressionism. Then there's Crazy Annalese - she mostly does mural tagging up in Hightown when her leg isn't bothering her and she can run away fast enough. Then of course there's Shy Nicholas - y'might have seen him? Pretty frail lad, constant cough? He does mostly portrait work on walls - he says Darktown is his canvas."

"How does Nicholas feel about mages?" he asks as he digs out and hands over two coppers. It's a lot when one of those might buy needed items like potatoes or fish, but he'll make more. He'll work harder. The Clinic needs to be more than just a building too, after all. It needs to give hope. Plain walls don't do a lot as far as that goes.

"Thank you. If you can let him know I'd like to speak with him, I'd appreciate it. And please keep your eyes out for dragon parts. Those are likely something I'll be in the market for for some time."
Never post before the caffiene kicks in...
:D
He doesn't need souvenirs. He's killed dragons. That's more than enough for him.
Re: :D
...but not before he slipped a copper into a sickly looking boy's hand, who was waiting with his mother by the doors.
