PLAYER PLOT: Enfenim

WHAT: A demon has trapped Pel in the Fade.
WHEN: Forward-Dated to 25 Firstfall
WHERE: The Gallows, the Fade
NOTES: Trigger warning bonanza for insects, body horror, corpses, dismemberment/maiming, death, illness, drowning, blood + will update if any more happen.

What am I to do with all of these dolls?
They've covered the floors, they've covered the walls.
They're stacked up chin-high all over the floor,
But my greedy child is screaming for more...

"Stop it, demon," Cyril tries again, but his voice wavers as he still can't really deal with the vision in front of him.

He has to remember that he's here for Pel. His cousin. The one woman who has always been there for him, always been his family. He needs to see past the illusion to find her and rescue her. His jaw tightens a bit and he forces himself to face this monster.

"Stop it," he says, voice stronger. He reaches for his bow.

"Are you going to pierce me with your arrow?" A puppet-hand reaches back, pantomiming Cyril's motions. Another shadowy hand appears to place a bow into the puppet's hands.

Cyril gets ready to move quickly if the puppet actually is able to use the bow. His hands shake for a moment, but he manages to get better control of himself to attempt an attack.

"Yes," he answers with a voice that sounds stronger than he feels. Then he lets the arrow fly.
