"I'm desperate to know of other taverns besides The Hanged Man. That's all anyone seems to speak of! But surely it can't be the only one in the city. If the others are that much smaller, they could do with the patronage."

She looks him over and yeah; Hightown, obviously. "...the Randy Dowager Tavern? I think it's not far from the Blooming Rose, if you're into that. I can't tell you what it's like, because I'm not dumb enough to walk into a high-class pub that's probably a watering hole for nobles."

"I've heard of the Blooming Rose and also what results from being a patron of it." A brothel is all well and good, but he prefers not to be crawling with disease. Sure, most have cures, but not all of them do. "It is tempting, but I must be steadfast if I want to keep my bits from turning green and falling off. But the tavern is worth a look." She's a smart one to not go wandering into such a place. Half of the nobles would start throwing bottles and the other half would faint. Though it'd provide a good show. He'd be in the corner flicking peanuts at the unconscious ones.

"And there isn't an official watering hole at the Gallows, but dammit, there should be. I don't think all of those offices are in use. If someone turns one of them into a bar, they might be my new favorite person."

"I'd rather have the freedom to pop in and leave whenever I want."

"You could still suggest it to those in charge to see if they might get someone else to run it."

"Julian Vincenzo Avonal De Abbrixio, since you asked for the flash, but Julian suits me well enough. Lord De Abbrixio if we're doing business, please. I have a reputation to uphold." Though he says it lightly enough, that's because he doubts she's in the leather business. His title is something he actually does use for business, because you can't be lax about these things when it's your status in the world on the line.
"I can't account for why there may be other Antivans here, but I came to secure a business deal between my house and the Inquisition, which I've achieved. Being here and seeing what you're doing, I wanted to tag along for a bit and put my sword to use."

"Putting some much-needed holes in Venatori and Red Templars is always welcome. Will I be seeing you in the Naval Presence project, or will you be putting that sword to use somewhere else?"

Her question has his eyebrows furrowing in thought. "Now that's something I've not heard of before this moment. What is this Naval Presence project?" There's not exactly an Inquisition pamphlet a new recruit gets. After his business was concluded, he asked to join up so he could use his sword, and was told the Forces division was the one for him. He sadly has heard nothing of any projects.

"I lived aboard a vessel for a year, but sadly I am not well educated in how to actually build one; only in making repairs." Even that seems a lot for a noble, but it was how Julian wanted it. He could have been treated like royalty on the ship, but he wanted to see how the ship ran and wanted to contribute to it. "I am not sure I could be of much use. My family's ships can likely not be spared." Or business will suffer.

"I see how it would be a good fit, but perhaps I should settle in more before I make any decisions regarding projects. However, I thank you for bringing this to my attention; I had no idea."
