probably not
Prompto Argentum feels like he's on top of the world. Honestly, it doesn't entirely register how unusual it feels, because it's just too good to complain about. Besides, what's there to not be happy about? He's got a friend from home here (even if he does feel kinda bad that Iggy's now trapped here, too) and he's got a girlfriend whom he adores. Then there's all his friends he's made here, and the little niche he's carving out for himself in the Inquisition.
So you know what, he's gonna enjoy being happy. And confident!
A) With this swell of good feelings comes a productivity that's set Prompto out and about the city. There's an itch for him to take photographs but (luckily in hindsight) he's pretty much out of his developing chemicals, so he can't. So he channels his energy into other tasks. He mostly takes on odds and ends tasks, like hauling firewood or just running messages to and fro. He runs from place to place, feeling exuberant and hardly at all tired. Careful, if he spots you (and knows you), he'll definitely come up and say hello in a very excitable fashion. Heck, he might do that even if he doesn't know you.
B) At some point, he's got to be in the Gallows. Don't worry, he's just as bouncy and energetic there. He can be seen running about, doing... Maker knows what, honestly. Does it matter? He's a lean, not-at-all-mean, blond hyperactive machine. And he's chatting up pretty much anyone he comes across.
Now... it stops being as fun.
The spiked energy and confidence boost is still there, but something begins to feel a bit off. Prompto hasn't slept well the past few nights. But no matter how much he can't rest, he still just keeps going. And going. Eyes a bit bloodshot with bags forming under them, Prompto sets about working on a new project: the ultimate cat tower for Noctis the cat.
Yes, the man who has no construction experience is going to build a cat tree.
If one finds themselves in Prompto's corner of the former mage tower, they'll find his door open, with pieces of wood, nails, yarn (?), rope, brightly colored balls (????), and whatnot strewn about. In the middle of his room is a... structure. Of some sort. Probably the supposed cat tree, but right now it looks more like OSHA's worst nightmare. For those near him, they'll hear the sounds of nails being hammered in and all the cacophony that comes with construction projects throughout the day, at least when he's not running about gathering more materials for his exceedingly ambitious idea of this cat tower.
Poke your head in and ask at your own risk.
Okay, now it's bad.
In addition to running about doing errands and still running amok, Prompto's frantic pace has only increased. Also, he might be running a fever. Also, he still hasn't slept. Those eyes of his are now definitely bloodshot, complete with nice black bags underneath. The man should have keeled over by now, but instead, he's still trucking along.
But he knows he needs to stop and get some damn sleep. So now his manic energy's directed towards finding something to knock him out.
"Hey, you got anything to help with sleep?" There's clear desperation in his voice. "Potions, herbs, magic, a blow to the back of the head?" He's not entirely kidding, either.
Insert your own scenario!

"I am! Like, I don't think I realized just how much I missed them." He'd only be more excited if it was Noctis who showed up, honestly. Of course, he's worried about what it means for back home, but there's not much he can do about that right now. "It's weird not having the others around, but you won't hear me complaining for getting to see Iggy."
no subject
It is said rather wistfully but ultimately gives him another smile, idly swinging their hands. "I really glad for you, Prompto. Plus it is a good look for you, you're quite cute being as excited as you are."
no subject
Oh gosh! Confidence boost or not, he still blushes a bit. "Just cute, huh? Well, I'll take it. Better to be happy and cute then... sullen and broody."
no subject
Saoirse is smiling lightly as she speaks, squeezing his hand and holding her book close to her chest. Her smile grows more as he speaks, chuckling and slowing her walk until she comes to a stop and carefully pulls him closer to her to captures his lips in a kiss. It's slow, slower than his kiss earlier but just as earnest and when she pulls away it is with another grin before continuing the walk to her room.
"You are a great many, many things to me." She says, humming slightly. "But to tell you would mean not getting to the alienage before sundown but you are still very cute, Prompto."
no subject
He hadn't meant to imply that's all she thought of him, but all the same, he's smiling just as wide when they pull apart from the kiss (is he ever going to get used to being able to kiss someone so freely? probably not). "See, now you got me all curious." He begins walking again, swinging their joined hands. "We can walk and talk. Multi-tasking! And I can even start since you're a whole lot of things to me, too! Let's see..." He taps his finger to his lips, like he has to give this a great deal of thought. It's mostly done in the hopes of getting a laugh out of her. "You're kind, funny, smart, hard-working, caring..." He shoots her a grin. "And the prettiest woman in Thedas, elf, human, Qunari, or otherwise."
no subject
One of those other reasons currently pulling her along into walking once more and swinging their hands. Quietly, Saoirse only nods along with his response to walking and talking but cannot help looking up at him curiously in thought. Ultimately, she writes it off to his excessive energy today and instead focuses on him with a fond look.
"And you always know how to make me smile." She says and ducking her head slightly to hide her blush. "Whenever I see you or hear your voice, I smile. Even if we couldn't talk just being at your side makes me happy. You selflessly look out for others and your friends, it makes me realize just how lucky I am. I feel safe and happy and I rather love kissing you."
no subject
Oh Saoirse, if only you knew what was going on with him. All in good time.
Well now they're both blushing and smiling. "And you are waaaay better with words than I am, did I mention that?" No, but oh well. And of course, because she mentioned it, he's gonna lean down and give her a quick kiss. "So do I. The kissing, I mean. And I'm way luckier."
no subject
Again there is a chuckle at the quick kiss and gives him a grin in turn. "You didn't mention it but I appreciate the thought though you're just fine as you are. But... perhaps we shouldn't turn it into a fight of who's luckier? I wouldn't want such an easy win against you."
no subject
Prompto scrunches his nose at her playfully. "Preeeeeetty sure I'd win by a landslide, but you're right. Probably not a battle we should play out." There'd be no end to it, even though he knows he's the lucky one for sure. Saoirse seems intent on her view of it, and Prompto doesn't have the will to deny her anything for long. "There anything else we should run to the alienage while we're at it? Food? Wood?"
no subject
Saoirse, in turn, scrunches her nose back and regards him with a slightly narrowed look but fails at holding it when ends up giggling. Instead, she simply squeezes his hand before letting go in order to get the door to her room up and humming thoughtfully over his question.
"Things are doing better in those regards, thankfully. It's mostly now just making sure they have the proper clothes for the outdoors so I've been knitting and gathering up clothes that people do not use anymore to pass out."
