He'd gestured for Adalia to come in when he'd seen her near the door. Anders can't heal her, but she'd looked upset so at least he could do that as he pokes at the mysterious rifter who still hasn't woken up.
"Are you all right?" He sounds a little distracted, but he does mean the question. What could this rifter have in common with Templars? It's lyrium that connects them to the Fade... Anders glances up, frowning at the door.
"And please close the door behind you. I'm going to do something ill-advised."

"Other than the debilitating illness and the panic I have to try to swallow every time I remember I'm magic-less, I'm fantastic, thanks for asking," she says, snippier than she probably should be. She's ill, though, and Anders is used to ill people, she probably gets a pass. The door is pushed shut behind her as Adalia makes her way over to the rifter, leaning in to inspect him.
"I feel like I should probably make a token effort, so: stop, no, I advise you not to do this. What are you doing?"

"I've been there," Anders says gently. "At Templar hands and otherwise. It's difficult, but you're among friends, at least." It won't do much. Nothing does, when your magic has been stripped and it's key to your being. But maybe his words can do a little, and maybe a distraction will too.
"Thank you for the token effort. What I'm going to do is something that may not even pay off, but... I'm otherwise out of ideas. So I'm going to make a small cut in his arm and collect some of his blood and see how it reacts to things. It can't backfire inside his body, then, though I... don't know that the reaction would be the same as if it was still in him, but I'd like to stop doing damage." He takes a breath. "I don't know if you're aware of it, but doing things with blood is edging into forbidden territory. But..."
He shrugs. It's the only idea he has, like he'd said.
