With the Rifters drifting in and out of memory, the Templar needing a near constant slow infusion of lyrium--some needing to be doped up with sleeping draughts as fast as Colin, Christine, and the others who’ve devoted their time to the pursuit can make them--and the runners moving slower and slower as they sleep less and less, it's decided that moving everyone to a more easily watchable location for care would be the best, and safest, play.

[Nahariel, Colin, Audra, and any others who remain blessedly unaffected and volunteer are headed out to wrangle you... u mad?]

II. You'll pry my room out of my cold dead hands!

They're going to try to push for it, but aren't going to force you. They do need to know where you are, especially the Rifters... who keep being forgotten just this side of entirely. Your location information is going to be taken down, and they'll continue to come visit you. This can be handwaved, or we can thread it out!

[If you'd like your poor sick bb to be dragged out kicking and screaming, go ahead and indicate that in your tag. Alternately, send me a line @ shaestorms and we can figure out how to pry you loose together. Once you're there, throw a tag to whine about it if you like!]

"I see no fowl." he jokes, "What a strange time to talk about ducks!"

Elros squirms and pokes him indignantly in the ribs.

"No noogies!"

Thankfully his achy body screams in protest under that poke. Thankfully for Elros, that is.

"Be gentle, be gentle!"

"Sorry." Elros settles immediately, contrite.

"Didn't mean to hurt you."

He chuckles half-heartedly and pulls him into a careful embrace.

"You know I would suffer far worse for you."

[tar_minyatur]

Elros hugs him back.

"I know. But what if I don't want you to?"

[castintoflames]

"I appreciate the thought!" he takes off his cloak and wraps it around Elros.

Elros shoves it back at him fondly.

"You need it too."

[castintoflames]

"I have you." he huffs and pushes back, "Or are you leaving me?"

"Don't be an idiot."

Elros leans against him

"I'm comfortable, and I don't fall through you."

He snorts and tucks the cloak around Elros snugly.

"That would be a problem. I like being solid."

[tar_minyatur]

Elros retaliates by flipping a corner over Maedhros.

"So do I! Although you must admit there might be many useful applications to being insubstantial! "

The corner is ignored in favor of him hugging Elros closer.

"For an imp, yes, I imagine so. Your pranks would be ceaseless!"

"I am a mature adult, what pranks?"

[castintoflames]

"Mature?" he laughs deeply, doing nothing to muffle the sound.

"Are you saying I'm not?" Elros elbows him for that.

[castintoflames]

"I love you, but yes." he makes a soft oomph sound - perhaps for Elros's benefit since he is teasing him.

[tar_minyatur]

"Rude." Elros sniffs and leans against him.

"I'll tell my future wife and grandkids about how rude my foster fathers were."

[castintoflames]

"I know." he snickers and wraps an arm around him, "They will be able to see straight through you."

Children have that talent and any wife of Elros must be as sharp-minded and mischievous as him.

"Maybe they won't!"

Elros sniffs back at him.

"I used to believe you!"

"If they do not, I worry for their intelligence!" he mimics the sniff, fighting down a smile, "Did you? Truly?"

How cute.

"I believed you when you told me the monster under the bed was friendly!"

[castintoflames]

"That wasn't a lie! He just wanted to be your friend." he chuckles, "You should have seen how furry he was!"

"Or you could have told me it wasn't real!"

"What do you mean?" straightest face ever, "Why would he be imaginary?"
